About the Author
Welcome! I’m Angela Gauthier, an ophthalmologist with a passion for storytelling and art. I love reading and writing thrillers, singing a cappella, and dancing West-Coast swing. After living all over the East Coast, I’ve now settled in Pittsburgh with my husband and mischievous corgi.
The Sproul Prison Experiment is my debut novel. It began as a simple question – what would happen if prisoners could control each other’s freedom? With the addition of some morally complex characters and a healthy dose of twists and turns, it became a fully-fledged thriller exploring the intricacies of game theory on a grand scale. I’ve learned so much workshopping this story at Critique Circle, the Aspinwall Critique Group, and Thrillerfest, and now I’m ready for the next step – querying agents.
I’m excited to eventually share this story with you all. In the meantime, you can check out my short stories and subscribe for updates as I go through the publishing journey. Thanks so much for your support!
